We also have dual option dental programs that enable groups to offer employees a choice between two or more dental insurance plans. Below mentioned are the dental insurance programs available with us to satisfy your overall oral health care needs:
Tricare Dental Plan: The Tricare Dental Program (TDP) is offered by the Department of Defense (DoD) through the TRICARE Management Activity (TMA). United Concordia Companies, Inc., administers and underwrites the TDP for the TMA. The TDP is a high-quality, cost-effective dental care benefit for eligible family members of all active duty uniformed services personnel; as well members of the Selected Reserve and Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) and their eligible family members.
Careington Dental Plan: Careington Dental Plan is a natural fit for TPAs (Third Party Administrators) and insurance companies who are looking for a mechanism to control costs while saving members out of pocket expenses. Additionally, dental services that are not traditionally included such as cosmetic procedures may be included. Plus, you’ll have more than 68,000 dentists to choose from. It’s so easy to use; it will have your whole family smiling!
Signature Dental Plan: The dental network is provided by the Signature Dental Network. All participating providers are independent contractors, not employees of the plan or the Signature Dental Network, and are solely responsible for the provision and quality of professional services.
Aarp Dental Plan: The AARP Dental Insurance Plan provides coverage tailored to the dental needs of AARP members, including the freedom to choose your own dentist! Two plan options offer immediate coverage for the most common services, with expanded coverage for major services after a 12-month waiting period. Individual and family coverage options are available and premiums are guaranteed for two years.
Fortis Dental Plan: Assurant (previously known as Fortis) is a traditional dental insurance program that offers comprehensive coverage for preventive, basic and major services from any provider you choose. Assurant is an alternative to the NCFlex High and Low Option dental plans. To get this dental insurance plan one is suppose fulfill eligibility criteria. This dental insurance plan is available to all permanent 50% time University employees, they can elect Assurant coverage for themselves, their spouses and their unmarried dependent children up to age 19, or up to age 25 with proof of full-time enrollment.
